Our Programs

The Lindsay Optimist Club runs many events throughout the year, including a fall-winter dodgeball league for kids, a dodgeball fundraising tournament for adults, an 8-week spring youth soccer league, and our month-long Xmas Tree fundraiser each December.

Winter dodgeball league

In the fall and winter months, the Club offers an evening dodgeball program for students in grades 4 to 8 (ages 8 to 10 and 11 to 13) with a strong emphasis on participation and fun.

The 2024 winter program will run every Monday evening, 6 to 8 pm, from January 22 to March 25 (excluding February 19 and March 11) at Alexandra Public School in Lindsay.

Adult dodgeball fundraising tournament

In early April, the Club runs a Saturday dodgeball tournament for adults. Funds generated from this event allow the Club to continue to sponsor and support its numerous partners. Such an event is not currently planned for 2024.

The Club is very grateful to the numerous sponsors and participants who step up to support this event.

8-week spring youth soccer league

We had a great season in 2023 and look forward to a bigger and better program in 2024. On-line registration will open on February 5. Please join us.
